Chief Executive Officer
Paul Dijkstra joined InterHealth in September of 2005 as Executive Vice President and was promoted to CEO in January of 2007. Paul leads both the domestic and international sales and marketing teams and is charged with the responsibility of corporate planning and development along with the management of day-to-day operations of the company. A veteran in the healthcare industry, his talents and wealth of experience are valuable assets to InterHealth. Paul received his MBA from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Mary Helen Lucero
Chief Financial Officer
A member of the InterHealth team since 1995, Mary Helen Lucero is responsible for management of the company’s financial operations, investor relations and human resources, as well as customer service and facility operations. She has been instrumental in the company’s growth and profitability. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Massood Moshrefi, Ph.D.
Vice President of Operations
Dr. Massood Moshrefi joined InterHealth in 2000 as chief operating officer. He has nearly two decades of experience in the development, scale-up and manufacturing of consumer food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical products. Prior to joining InterHealth, Dr. Moshrefi served in senior management positions with a number of large and small companies in the health, cosmetic, personal care and dietary supplement industries. He received his Ph.D. in agricultural engineering from the University of California at Davis, and holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from California State University, Fresno.

VP Sales & Marketing
Jay Martin joined the InterHealth team in 2007. He is responsible for the sales and marketing departments including strategic direction and management of key initiatives. Jay comes to InterHealth with more than 15 years of marketing, research and development experience with industry leaders that include Pharmavite, Weider Nutrition, Kellogg, Abbott Labs, Merck KGaA and Shaklee. His expertise includes product development from concept through launch, new business development, brand and general marketing management. Jay has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bard College (Annandale-on-Hudson, NY) and an MBA from the University of Southern California (Los Angeles).

Contact Team Member Robert Worsena
Rob Worsena joined InterHealth in May 2007 with more than 20 years’ experience in the nutritional supplement, food, beverage and consumer healthcare industries. He is responsible for business development for the company’s expanding functional food and beverage division. Prior to joining InterHealth, Mr. Worsena held several sales management and strategic marketing positions with Perrigo Company, where he helped to direct the sales, new product growth and customer marketing of an extensive line of nutritional supplements, functional foods, beverages and consumer healthcare products. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Florida State University.
Vice President of Information Technologies
Part of the InterHealth team since 1995, Fred Zilz has headed the company’s IT department since 2000 and prior to that was director of sales for the Western Region. Before joining InterHealth, Fred served as technical sales manager for Lucas Meyer, Inc. in Illinois. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in genetics and development for the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Jim Lugo, Ph.D.
Vice President, Business Development and Research
Dr. Lugo joined the InterHealth team in 2011. He is responsible for the Business Development and Research departments. His responsibilities include the oversight of the Company's R&D activities as well as its new business ventures. Dr. Lugo comes to InterHealth with more than 15 years of marketing and business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry with leading companies such as Chugai Pharmaceuticals, Dey LP, Elan Pharmaceuticals, Chiesi Farmaceutici, Sp. A., and UCB. His expertise includes product development from concept through launch, new business development, clinical trial design and medical marketing, as well as brand and general marketing management. Dr. Lugo has a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Brooklyn College, a Ph.D. in Immunology from MIT, and an MBA from the University of California (Los Angeles).
