Aller-7® RECEIVES U.S. PATENT
Aller-7® Promotes Respiratory Health and Normal Breathing
Without The Side Effects Common with Many Medications

BENICIA, Calif., June 3, 2004 – Aller-7®, InterHealth’s unique, all-natural herbal extract formula that promotes respiratory health and normal breathing seasonally and all year round, has been granted Patent No. 6,730,332 by the United States Patent Office. The patent covers both the composition and manufacturing process for producing Aller-7®. Worldwide patents are pending.
Aller-7® is a proprietary blend of seven herbal extracts, including Phyllanthus emblica (fruit), Terminalia chebula (fruit), Terminalia bellerica (fruit), Albizia lebbeck (bark), Zingiber officinale (root), Piper longum (fruit) and Piper nigrum (fruit). Made by a unique three-step extraction process, Aller-7® contains standardized levels of polyphenols, chebulic acid, glycosides, piperine, gallic acid, ellagic acid and gingerols.
Airborne allergies affect more than 40 million Americans and are the sixth leading cause of chronic disease in the U.S., costing consumers more than $4.5 billion each year in search of relief. Allergies are caused by an over-active immune system. When exposed to allergens such as pollen, mold, dust or dander, mast cells degranulate and release their stores of inflammatory mediators, including tissue-damaging enzymes and histamine, which are the root cause of common allergy symptoms such as sneezing, itching and runny nose. Aller-7® works by promoting a healthy immune system before it becomes a problem.
Aller-7® is the most extensively researched all-natural product clinically proven to promote respiratory health and normal breathing seasonally and all year round. Numerous clinical and sub-clinical studies, including multi-center, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials, have shown that Aller-7®:
- Promotes healthy respiratory and immune systems
- Promotes clear airway passages and normal breathing
- Stabilizes mast cells, which promote respiratory health
- Neutralizes free radicals, which can damage the body’s respiratory and immune systems
- Is safe, non-toxic, well-tolerated and will not cause side effects such as nervousness, headache, fatigue, drowsiness and bleeding, which are common with many medications.
“This patent will protect consumers from inferior and ineffective ‘knock-off’ products that don’t work,” stated InterHealth President & CEO, William “Skip” Seroy. “More than a decade of research has shown that Aller-7® is both highly effective and completely safe to take.”
Aller-7® is available in a variety of quality dietary supplements, including products by Nature’s Plus, Natural Factors and GNC. Consumers can find it by looking for the Aller-7® logo on the label.
InterHealth researches, develops, manufactures, markets and distributes specialty nutritional ingredients, which are sold worldwide to manufacturers of dietary supplements and nutraceutical food and beverage products.
