Active Ingredient in CitriMax® Shown to Reduce Fat Production and Food Consumption

Researchers at Hoffman-LaRoche found that consumption of hydroxycitric acid (HCA), the active ingredient in CitriMax®, reduced the rate at which fat was stored in the liver, fat tissue and small intestine of animals. Animals receiving HCA also had lower food consumption than animals receiving a placebo.
