Long-Term Intake of OptiZinc® and ChromeMate® Reduce Oxidation, Lower Blood Pressure and Improve Blood Sugar Status
Researchers at Georgetown University Medical Center and Creighton University School of Pharmacy have shown that long-term intake of OptiZinc® and ChromeMate® resulted in reduced free radical formation, decreased cellular oxidation, and significantly lower blood pressure in animals fed the supplemented diet. Furthermore HbA1c, a measure of long-term blood sugar status, was significantly lower with supplementation, suggesting greater sensitivity to insulin than in animals fed the control diet. Fat mass was also reduced in supplemented animals. No toxicity was associated with long-term consumption of these ingredients.
